Created for New Demands?
Solo exhibition at Sector 2337, Chicago

The texts were adapted from unionization campaigns by the International Ladies Garment Workers' Union; Clergy and Laity Concerned; a speech by the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. from April 4, 1967; and labor organizing against the revocation of collective bargaining rights for public sector workers in Wisconsin, 2011-2012.

Drawing inspiration from historical demands of the American labor movement and especially from the International Ladies Garment Workers' Union New Demands? at Sector 2337 connects past and present demands for labor justice and racial justice. The exhibition also emphasized solidarity, mutual support, collective organizing and community.
