The print reinterprets and recreates a flyer produced by the International Ladies Garment Workers Union, Local 23-25 in New York City. The rally was held on June 24, 1982, during a period when garment manufacturers moved their operations overseas en masse, eliminating tens of thousands of unionized jobs.
