This artwork was created as a takeaway poster for visitors to the exhibition, On Loss and Absence: Textiles of Mourning and Survival at the Art Institute of Chicago. 1000 copies were made available to the public to take home., All of the available works were taken within two weeks of the exhibition's opening in September 2025. The text celebrates resilience, resistance, and survival. The back of the poster (not shown) invites viewers to reflect on sustaining traditions and remembering loved ones.
