From the series New Demands? (2011-2023)

Solo exhibition at Sector 2337, Chicago

These works connect historical and contemporary demands for better living and working conditions. They are inspired by labor campaigns by the International Ladies Garment Workers' Union waged between the 1934 and 1982; an April 1967 speech by the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.; and historical slogans from American labor movements.
